Day 1
Leave Kolkata in the morning for Murshidabad. On the way visit Phulia. Over night in Murshidabad or Baharampur.
The last capital city of independent Bengal was named after Nawab Murshid Quli Khan, the Dewan of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. It is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi. A city of splendors & famous for its silk, was made capital of Bengal in 1717. The ballad of the Baluchari sari was woven on the sandy shores of Jiagani. The rich tradition of silks, btassware and in the past, ivory carvings, are the pride of Bengal's handicrafts.
Day 2
Stay in Murshidabad till afternoon and proceed for Maldah Over night stay in hote.
 
The district head quarter town is located 365 km north of Kolkata was one time capital of Bengal, the district maintains the tradition of the past in culture and education. It was formerly known as English Bazaar as an English factory was established here in 1771. Lying on the confluence of the Mahananda and Kalindri rivers the Maldah town rose to prominence as the river port. Apart from agriculture, sericulture and mango cultivation, earns a lot for its inhabitants.
Day 3 & 4
Full day in Maldah with visit to places of interest and in the evening board train for Kolkata. Next day arrive Kolkata in the morning and transfer to hotel.
